Priorities

When it comes to school, understanding priorities while studying is very essential. To understand priorities, start with due dates. Ask yourself what assignments are due on that day and start working on them. Slowly shift to working on less important tasks that may be due at a later time.

Techniques & Methods

• Pomodoro Technique

Identify what you need to work on. After identifying this task, set a timer for 25 minutes and work on set task. After 25 minutes, set a timer for 5 minutes and take a break during this time. Repeat and continue to work and study for various other work.

• The SQ3R Method

Preview and review your notes, then work on quizzing yourself and making questions for yourself on the information previewed. After this, read each section of the information at a time and look over your answers for the questions. Following this task, reflect and if your answers were wrong search throguh information for the right one. Recite information again and go back and review.

• The Feymann Technique

Write the subject/concept of what you are learning on a piece of paper, then explain it in your own words as if you were explaining the information to someone else. Review what you wrote and see what pieces were missing and add those in. Lastly, go back to areas if you used too lengthy and complicated of words and simplify it.
